It hits twice per attack, one tick apart, with each hit's max damage halved and the second strike gated by the first's accuracy roll. Paired with the full Blood moon set, the Bloodrager effect grants a 33 percent chance per hit to fire one tick earlier, enabling occasional 3-tick attacks for major DPS gains.
