Dragon metal slice is a rare 1/5000 drop from adamant dragons added with Dragon Slayer II, used together with a Dragon metal shard (from rune dragons) and a Dragon sq shield to smith the Dragon kiteshield at 75 Smithing for 1,000 XP at the Blast Furnace. It is one of the gating components for the dragon kiteshield grind and pairs visually with the shard as two halves of a square shield in the drop animation.
