The desert robes are the legs slot of the Kharidian desert clothing set, designed to delay the desert heat effect by an additional 12 seconds per piece worn. While they grant zero combat stats, they are a near-essential utility item for any extended trip through the Kharidian Desert, from Pollnivneach to the Jaldraocht Pyramid and the Mirage Arena. A full desert outfit is also turned in to a slave miner during The Tourist Trap quest to access deeper portions of the desert mining camp. The robes can be purchased from desert merchants for a handful of coins, making them the cheapest reusable heat counter available to free-questing adventurers.
