About Bronze longsword
"A razor sharp longsword."
The bronze longsword is the entry-level longsword in OSRS, requiring only level 1 Attack. Smithed at level 6 Smithing using 2 bronze bars (25 xp). Rarely used since the iron longsword offers superior stats with the same Attack requirement, making it primarily a Smithing training byproduct.

Released with the launch of RuneScape Classic-era melee tiers.
Market Strategy
- Crafting cost (~120 gp in bars) exceeds GE value — unprofitable to smith for profit.
- Demand is mostly Smithing trainers high-alching the output (24 gp each).
Trading Tips
Buy if doing alching tasks where 24 gp per cast partially offsets nature rune cost.
Avoid hoarding — supply is large and price is sticky.
