The Bow of faerdhinen (inactive) is the tradeable shell of the corrupted crystal bow. Activating it (by attacking with it) consumes the inactive item and produces a 0-charge Bow of faerdhinen which then needs to be fed crystal shards to fire. The active bow does not degrade in combat, only consumes shards.
Highest single-target ranged DPS in the game when paired with full crystal armour, eclipsing the toxic blowpipe at most bosses and tied or surpassing the Twisted bow against low-magic targets.
