The black felling axe sits in the entry-mid bracket of the Forestry: Part Two woodcutting weapons, combining a black axe and a felling axe handle at an anvil with a hammer. The forge step is irreversible, but the finished axe remains tradeable.

It chops at the same speed as a standard black axe and unlocks Forestry passives: while carrying forester's rations, players gain 10% more Woodcutting XP and a 20% chance to skip log collection per swing — useful when training for XP rather than logs.
