Big bones are the F2P prayer staple, dropped by hill giants, moss giants, fire giants, ogres, cyclopes, and several jungle and cave-dwelling humanoids. Each bone grants 15 Prayer XP buried, 52.5 at the Chaos Altar or Gilded Altar with two burners lit, and 60 at the Ectofuntus.
Hill Giants under the Edgeville Dungeon are the iconic F2P prayer XP source. Ironmen frequently bank big bones for late-game Chaos Altar runs.
