The apple sapling is the first fruit-tree sapling in the Farming progression. Grow it by planting an apple tree seed in a filled plant pot with a gardening trowel, then water it and wait for the seedling to mature. Once it sprouts, plant the sapling in a fruit tree patch (e.g. Brimhaven or Catherby) for ~14h of growth before harvesting cooking apples.

Market Strategy

  • Bound to apple tree seed supply from Master Farmer pickpockets and seed packs.
  • Most Ironmen grow their own, so GE volume is thin and the price clusters near 1 gp.
  • Useful for tick-manipulated tree runs when buying time matters more than gp.

Trading Tips

Buy limit 200 per 4 hours; not worth flipping at scale due to ~1 gp value floor.
When farming guild tree runs are active, demand may spike briefly before resetting.
