About Angler's paint
"A salmon pink paint. This might look good on a boat."
Angler's paint is a salmon pink cosmetic paint introduced with the Sailing skill release. It is used at the boat schematics board in the Shipyard to recolor the trim of skiffs and sloops.
The paint drops as a rare reward from deep sea trawling (1/18,000) and from mixed shoals fishing (1/16,200). Rod fishing and crewmate-driven catches cannot produce it. Players can also trade five matching paints to Trader Stan in exchange for merchant's paint, opening cosmetic palettes for higher-tier vessels.
